A durability tag is a tag that remains on an object for a long time and does not fall off. The surface self-adhesive material of the label requires good weather resistance and toughness, and the spotting agent requires high adhesive strength and durability. Film-based materials are often preferred for durable labels.
(1) PET material. There are two thicknesses of 25um and 50um, and the colors are bright white, matte white, transparent and metallized bright silver, bright gold, sub-gold, and sub-silver. The characteristics of PET material are as follows.
a. The material has high hardness, tensile strength and tear strength.
b. Excellent high temperature resistance, can withstand high temperature of 150°C.
c. Excellent durability.
d. Excellent light transmittance, opacity and good metallization treatment characteristics. e. Good chemical corrosion resistance, suitable for outdoor use, and widely used.
(2) PVC material. It is softer than PET material, can be stretched and deformed, and the thickness is generally more than 100um. Commonly used colors are white and transparent. The characteristics of PVC material are as follows.
a. Good weather resistance, suitable for outdoor use.
b. The application temperature range is 20~80°C, and it is not resistant to high temperature.
c. Durability and chemical resistance are very good.
d. Due to its good flexibility, it is suitable for application on various types of surfaces.
(3) Synthetic paper materials. Synthetic paper material is a new type of synthetic material, which has the common characteristics of film and paper, with a thickness of more than 60um, generally only white. The characteristics of synthetic paper materials are as follows.
a. It has excellent tensile and shear strength.
b. It has similar printability to paper and is suitable for printing with various inks.
c. Good durability and corrosion resistance, suitable for outdoor use.
d. It has a wide range of applications and can replace all kinds of metal signs.
