How many grams of coated paper are used for printing albums
What kind of paper is used for album printing is a very confusing thing. Generally, the most commonly used album printing paper: double copper paper, commonly known as coated paper, commonly used weights are 80g, 105g, 128g, 157g, 200g, 250g, 300g and 350g double copper paper.

So when using double copper paper for corporate album printing, how to choose the weight better?
We propose 3 kinds of paper recommendations based on the number of pages of corporate brochures.
1. Corporate albums have few pages, such as albums with less than 16 pages. Generally, the album cover can use 300g double copper, and the inner pages of the album can use 200g double copper. Such corporate albums will not feel too thin and stingy.
2. If the page number of the corporate album is about 20P to 40P, it is recommended to use 300g double copper or 250g double copper for the album cover and 157g double copper for the album inner pages.
3. If the page number of the corporate album is above 40P, you can choose 300g double copper or 250g double copper for the album cover and 128g double copper for the album inner pages.
The above three are suitable for ordinary corporate album printing. Now the ordinary material selection method can no longer meet the needs of high-end customers. High-end customer corporate album printing generally uses special paper, such as super-sensitive paper, pearlescent paper, etc.
The most commonly used paper weight for album printing:
Generally, customers choose the paper weight for album printing, 300g/250g coated paper for the front and back covers, and 157g coated paper/128g coated paper for the inner pages; the choice of matte paper weight is the same.
Commonly used bond paper weights include 80g, 105g, 128g, 157g bond paper, 200g, 250g, 300g, 350g bond paper.
What is coated paper?
Coated paper, also known as coated paper, is a layer of white slurry coated on the base paper and calendered.
Good elasticity, strong water resistance and tensile strength, good ink absorption and ink collection, and good printing color reproduction effect.
What kind of paper is generally used for printing corporate brochures?
Printing albums on matte paper is also a good choice. The most common types of printing are corporate brochures, product manuals, product catalogs, journals, magazines, etc., which have a better color reproduction effect on printing.
What is matte paper?
Matt powder paper, officially known as matte coated paper, has less reflection than coated paper when viewed in the sun. After printing, it has good gloss, small contrast, bright colors, and noble and elegant texture and taste.
There are two common types of paper for printing albums: coated paper and matte paper
1. Coated paper has better gloss and is mainly used for printing books, illustrations, color pictures, various exquisite advertisements, samples, product packaging, trademarks, etc.
2. Matt paper is more expensive, consumes more ink, and is harder. It is not as easy to deform as coated paper. Although the printed pattern color is not as bright as coated paper, the pattern is more delicate and high-end than coated paper. (For samples and albums with higher requirements, it is recommended to choose matte paper.) The bleed of these two types of paper is 3mm.
In addition, some samples and albums will choose some expensive special papers (such as cloth paper, paper bag color paper) for printing, which is relatively expensive and generally not within the scope of conventional printing.
Which is more suitable for album printing, double copper paper or matte paper?
The common paper for album printing is double bond paper (that is, what we often call bond paper. What is bond paper has been introduced before, so I won't talk about it here), and there is also matte paper and so on.
