Why does self-adhesive material have split film paper, and there are removable glue and permanent glue, how is it classified? In fact, there are a variety of classification methods for self-adhesive materials, and we also have different names in the process of use, and the commonly used classification methods are as follows:

(1) Classified according to adhesive characteristics. It is divided into permanent self-adhesive materials and removable self-adhesive materials.

(2) Classified according to adhesive coating technology. It is divided into hot-melt self-adhesive materials, solvent self-adhesive materials and emulsion self-adhesive materials.

(3) Classification according to the chemical characteristics of the adhesive. It is divided into two types of self-adhesive materials: rubber-based and acrylic-based.

(4) Classification of surface material characteristics. It is divided into paper self-adhesive materials, film self-adhesive materials and special self-adhesive materials.

(5) Classified according to the characteristics of the bottom paper. It is divided into three types of self-adhesive materials: opaque liner (thick bottom paper), translucent bottom paper (thin bottom paper) and transparent bottom paper.

These classifications are often interrelated and indispensable, so users should pay attention to each of these categories when selecting materials or recommending them to suppliers to ensure that they are using the correct labeling materials.
