Description
The HP Indigo digital press utilizes the electrostatic imaging principle, except that instead of using dry toner ink, it uses wet electronic ink. First to the imaging plate evenly charged, and then the laser head according to the RIP processed after the color of the dot matrix format with a laser beam in the imaging plate discharge, the color of the electronic ink will be in the electric field force under the action of the imaging plate attached to the imaging area to form an image layer. The image layer is also transferred to the blanket through the imaging drum and the potential difference between the blanket drum. Electronic ink is partially dissolved after heating on the blanket, transferred to the substrate by pressure, and then cured and attached to the substrate. The imaging process is the same for the other colors and is achieved on one set of rollers.
Our Indigo materials are predominantly film products with a proprietary Indigo coating on the face, and are available in rolls of standard widths of 330 mm and lengths of 100m-6000m, and in sheets of standard sizes of A3+, A3, A4 and A3+.
